Self-confidence is something we build throughout our lives, and it is normal for it to fluctuate. Did you know that there are different habits and things you can do to boost your self-confidence?

Here are some of our favorite tips to boost your self-esteem – and blossom into a better, stronger you and achieve all your dreams.

Celebrate the small stuff!

Celebrating small victories is a good way to build your self-confidence. As humans, we are quickly tempted to look at the negative of something that happens and diminish the good. Start simply by writing down 3 things every evening that you have done well and that you are proud of. Find ways to reward yourself and celebrate all the good things you do - every little step is a step closer to your dream and you can celebrate :)

Practice positive self-talk

Self talk, or also called your “internal dialogue”. The voices in your head that are present all day long. What these “voices” say to you has a great influence on your self-image and state of mind. If you fall into a pattern of negative thinking, try to turn it into positive things. These are some examples to try:

Instead of saying 'I can't do this' or 'this is impossible', try reminding yourself that 'I can do this' or 'I just have to try'

Instead of saying "I can't do anything right" when you make a mistake, remind yourself "I can do better next time" or "I learned something from this experience."

Make your well-being a priority

Take time for yourself and the things that give you energy. Nourish your body and mind with good and nutritious food, exercise and rest. Whether it's walking, team sports, dancing or lifting weights, doing a physical activity that you enjoy is a great way to treat yourself. Getting enough rest and sleep is also essential, as lack of sleep can really disrupt your feelings both physically and mentally. It's amazing how different you can feel after a good night's sleep. Aim for the recommended seven to eight hours per night.

Surround yourself with positivity

The people you spend time with can have a big impact on how you feel and behave. Make sure you surround yourself with people who have your best interests at heart and want to help you achieve your goals. No is the time to think about how your friends, colleagues and family make you feel. Do they help you achieve your goals and accept you as you are? Surround yourself with people who have a positive mindset, help you build self-confidence and be yourself.

Let go of expectations and follow your heart

When you do what you love, you radiate this. The most important thing to be happy with yourself and to trust yourself is to do what makes you happy. Let go of the expectations that others have of you and follow your own heart and dreams.

By investing in your well-being, both mentally and physically, building positive and meaningful relationships, being kind to yourself and listening to your own desires. Then you can achieve everything you dream of. Remember that building self-confidence takes practice and time and doesn't happen overnight - treat yourself with love. We believe in you!
